Facilities

On board facilities include a heated lounge area with TVs, seating and tables, a workshop area with worktops, washing machine and a tumble dryer. This area can be made into a dark room for photography and film purposes. There is also a shower room with toilet and hand basin and an aft cabin with 8 bunks and a TV. At present, more people could be accommodated sleeping in the lounge area if needed.

Above the shelter is a large open deck area open to all directions with access stairs at either end which leads down to the aft deck at the ships stern. The former hold has been converted for the skippers private facilities.

The forward whale back covers a storage space that will be used for diving equipment etc .From here there is a hatch that leads down into a rope locker that will be converted at a later date.

The top of the whale back has a tripod mast that will have a crows nest fitted, the anchor winch and the hydraulic controls. Between this and the shelter deck is the 'well deck', a spacious area that divers will be launched from and recovered to. Inside the shelter deck we have created a heated lounge area with seating and tables as well as televisions. There is storage under the seating and a shelved area for storage of lifejackets and safety equipment.
